The RF Capacitance Level Switch is made to provide accurate and reliable point levels (high and low) and also information on solids (powders and lumps). The components consist of an oscillator, a detector, and an output relay, which is controlled by the detector. Because of the build-up, most conventional sensors give a false indication when coated. Therefore, these level sensors are designed to ignore any such build-up or coating. It is used in point-level detection and process control for solid, liquid, and slurry materials, as well as in plastics, chemicals, coal/fly ash, concrete, food ingredients, pharmaceuticals, feed, grain, mining, foundries, wood or paper processing, and many other materials.
